- Start with the keynotes. The opening keynote sets the product roadmap for the year. Whatever Procore announces there will show up in your admin settings within months, so it is worth the seat.
- Pick sessions by workflow, not by title. Sort the agenda by the part of Procore you live in: Financials, Project Management, Preconstruction, Resource Management. Then choose sessions where a customer, not a Procore employee, is presenting. Those are where the real configuration lessons come out.
- Book Expo Hall time like a session. Block an hour on each day. The hall is quiet during keynotes and packed during the receptions, so use the quiet hour for demos and the reception for follow ups.
- Leave the Bash slot open. The October 22 Bash is where the hallway conversations from two days turn into introductions. Do not schedule a flight that night.
Getting around Orlando
- Venue. The Orange County Convention Center is on International Drive, about 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport by car. Confirm whether your sessions are in the West or North South concourse; they are connected but it is a long walk.
- Hotels. Book through the official Groundbreak housing partner, 38 North Connections. The contracted hotels are on International Drive within walking or shuttle distance. Procore has warned about scam housing offers, so ignore anything from another company.
- Weather. Late October in Orlando is warm, mid 80s during the day, with afternoon showers possible. The convention center is heavily air conditioned; bring a layer for sessions.
- Getting between hotels and the hall. International Drive traffic is slow at 8 AM. If your hotel is within a mile, walking is faster than rideshare.
